  • Meets Oct 3, 10, 17, 24 at the GWC 126 East Main Street Gloucester, MA, 01930 United States (map)

Poring over selected stories to see how authors make them work, in-class exercises to try some of the things we discuss, generating new work, or continuing to work on a piece in progress—fiction or non-fiction. We’ll focus on the elements of story, based on your writing and our discussion about things what’s puzzling you in your work. Such things as character development, dialog, dynamic setting, precise language, metaphor, beginnings, endings, story shape, etc.
