Peter Littlefield participated in the New York downtown scene for many years, writing and directing original work at the Kitchen, the Pyramid, and other venues. His adaptation of Peter Pan for the Fisher Center at Bard was called “a stranger, sexier version” by the New York Times. In 2023, his adaptation/staging of Dogtown Common played at Windhover, part of the Gloucester 400+ celebrations. He studied with Maria Irene Fornes.
